The MTO program is a church-sponsored co-op toddler program designed for children aged 20 months to three years. Girls are eligible after 20 months, while boys are eligible after 24 months.
At MTO, children engage in activities like singing, indoor free play, structured indoor activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. They also learn important social skills like sharing, taking turns, listening, and following directions.
Waiokeola Mom’s Time Off is not licensed by the State of Hawaii.
Class Schedule
Two classes are offered.
- Tuesday/Thursday class from 8:45-11:40 am
- Wednesday/Friday Class from 8:45-11:40 am
In order to balance classes, children will be placed in a class following their completion of the interview/orientation process.
Leaders/Parent of the Day
The adult-child ratio is 1:4. MTO has two leaders plus a Parent of the Day – a mother or father of a child enrolled in MTO who assists leaders with various activities for the children. Parents are required to participate as Parent of the Day twice each semester, and must be an actual parent – sorry, no nannies, aunties, uncles or grandparents allowed!
