Sundays at 9:00 am
Children arrive to church at 9:00am and are dismissed to their class after receiving a blessing from the Pastor.
We strive to make all children feel welcome and a sense of belonging. Parents are always welcome to remain in the class with their child.
The Waiokeola Sunday Church School uses a variety of teaching methods to help the keiki come to know Jesus. Through storytelling, water play, crafts, field trips and more children begin to embrace belief as they launch into a lifelong journey of becoming a disciple.
The age-based Awana curriculum aims to reach kids and families with the gospel. Awana pairs a small group discipleship handbook with large group teaching. Children learn how to memorize God’s Word, study the Bible, and apply it to their lives. They also learn about worldwide missions and the need to help others. As children complete various stages in the Awana program, they earn awards.
