The word nativity comes from the Latin term nativus, which means “born.” Although the Bible mentions the nativity of several prominent characters, such as John the Baptist, Samson, and Moses, today the term is almost exclusively used for the birth of Jesus, the Son of God. Rejoice and be glad as we celebrate the nativity of Christ.
Today we’re going to take a look at what God thinks about love and what love looks like from his perspective.
As we continue our Advent 2020 sermon series, today we’ll learn how ‘joy’ plays a part in the good news of God.
Contrary to the title of my sermon, we can’t lose ‘peace’ like our dogs or car keys. Rather, peace is a state of being that we choose to live in, so today we’ll learn how God gives us peace.
Today, we are joining hundreds of millions of Christians around the world, as we all begin to observe and celebrate Advent together.
